Eastern Canada & the Maritimes offer spectacular beauty any time of the year; however in autumn the mountains and foliage offer a kaleidoscope of brilliant color. Our 20 day air and coach tour will take you to Ontario, Quebec, New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island and Newfoundland with plenty of sightseeing, history and a lifetime of memories.
You’ll visit the thundering magnificence of Niagara Falls, Next stop, Ottawa, Canada’s capital, a vibrant and colorful city. We will tour the parliament buildings and gardens of Rideau Hall. Spend the afternoon exploring the many activities and entertainment found in this delightful city before moving onto historic and picturesque Quebec City.
The Quebec City area is buzzing like never before, tap into the energy and discover both the old and new Quebec City. The European-styled old world elegance of Quebec City is yours to discover.

History comes alive in Atlantic Canada, an enchanting cluster of Islands that are known for their rugged coastlines and distinct maritime history. Located on the eastern shore of Canada, Atlantic Canada offers four distinct tourist destinations, New Brunswick, a land of small friendly communities, offering visitors many diverse sights including such things as the reversing falls.We venture to Prince Edward Island via the Confederation Bridge and tour the many attractions including those that pay homage to the much beloved Anne of Green Gables novels. Travel the Bay of Fundy into the Naval City of Halifax for a two night stay. We then drive across the strait of Canso into Cape Breton and onto Sydney Nova Scotia. Enjoy the ferry across to Newfoundland our final destination. What an unforgettable journey!

Day 1 – Kelowna to Toronto
Welcome to Toronto! Upon arrival at the airport, leisurely transfer to your hotel. Enjoy a full service hotel, as the rest of the day is free to do as you wish. Double Tree Inn By Hilton Toronto Airport.
Day 2 – Toronto to Niagara Falls – *Continental Breakfast and Dinner
After an included breakfast we board our motorcoach. Sit back, relax, and enjoy the luxury of our modern motorcoach. It is of course air-conditioned and washroom equipped, for your comfort and enjoyment. We are treated to a locally guided city tour of Toronto, including such highlights as the two City Halls, Parliament Buildings, viewing the CN Tower, Eaton Centre, lakefront and downtown area. After a scattered lunch in downtown, we proceed south through rich farmlands and vineyards along the Queen Elizabeth Highway to the Niagara Parkway to Niagara Falls. We then enjoy a thrilling excursion aboard the “Maid of the Mist” for an incredible sight of the enormous falls. Later on we visit the “Brock Monument”, the “Floral Clock” and “Whirlpool Rapids” for pictures. Niagara Falls, the “Honeymoon Capital of the World,” is our home for the night. Join the tour director and driver for a ‘Get Acquainted Dinner’
Day 3 – Niagara Falls to Ottawa *Buffet breakfast included
Our short drive along the shores of Lake Ontario to Kingston, were you show you the sights of this city. We are then off to the picturesque capital of Canada, Ottawa. Located at the confluence of the Ottawa & Rideau Rivers. Hotel: Courtyard by Marriott
Day 4 – Ottawa *Breakfast
We spend the morning enjoying a sightseeing tour of Ottawa. This includes a guided tour of the parliment buildings and the gardens of Rideau Hall. After lunch at the By-Town market, the remainder of the day is free. We suggest a visit to the Museum of Civilization or cruise along the Canal.
Day 5 – Ottawa to Quebec City *Breakfast
Travelling through the scenic Eastern Townships with a lunch stop, we arrive in Quebec City. There is nowhere quite like this ‘Almost European’ old city with its stone buildings and quaint roof tops. After a mini tour of the city, the afternoon is free to explore. Your hotel is the Delta Quebec
Day 6 – Quebec City- *Breakfast Buffet
We begin the day filled with excitement. The narrow streets and quaint buildings of “Old Town Quebec City,” the only walled city on the continent, other than Mexico, exudes a romantic atmosphere. Experience the beauty and history of both Old and New Quebec with a fascinating 3 hour tour of this gracious city. We visit the World Famous Chateau Frontenac, the Latin Quarter, Plains of Abraham and much more! After lunch we have time to explore the downtown core and the capital of Quebec on your own.
Day 7 – Quebec to Bangor Main Breakfast
Our southward travel brings us to the Canada/US border to enter into the United States. Marvel the gorgeous scenery of farmlands and country-side on our way to Bangor. We sincerely hope Mother Nature pleases us by displaying the beautiful scenery of the fall colours. We spend the night in Bangor.
Day 8 – Bangor to St. Andrews, NB *Breakfast & Wine & Cheese
This morning, we re-enter into Canada. After a mini tour of Fredericton we drive along the Bay of Fundy which brings us to the city of Saint John, the loyalist city. This afternoon, we enjoy a tour of Saint John which includes the Market Square, Saint John Harbour and Reversing Falls, a unique phenomenon between the Bay of Fundy tides and the flow of the Saint John River. Enjoy your overnight stay in New Brunswick’s oldest resort town St. Andrew’s, browse its quaint shops and marvel at the tides which rise and fall 8 meters a day. You are invited to a gathering by the waterfront of our hotel for a ‘Wine and Cheese Party’. Hotel St. Andrew Motor Inn
Day 9 -St. Andrews to Charlottetown *Lobster Feast
Our motor coach takes us to Moncton and the mysterious “Magnetic Hill”, one of nature’s contradictions, an optical illusion which makes vehicles appear to coast uphill. Later we cross the Northerumerland Straits on the Confederation Bridge to P.E.I. Enjoy an evening at Fisherman’s Wharf and spectacular Lobster Feast (Steak or scallops if you prefer). Day 10 – Charlottetown
A day to see the famed beaches of Prince Edward Island with attractions including Lucy Maude Montgomery’s romantic Anne of Green Gables, and Cavendish Beach. Relax during our return journey into Charlottetown where we visit the home of Canada’s confederation, Province House. The rest of the afternnon is free for you to enjoy.
Day 11 – Charlottetown to Halifax *Dinner
From Charlottetown we set sail across the Northumberland Straits, having lunch on board. We check into our hotel in Halifax early afternoon. We join Alan Doyle for a city tour. This evening enjoy your dinner at Peggy’s Cove. Hotel: Radisson Suite Hotel
Day 12 – Halifax
A Free Day to explore all that Halifax has to offer.
Day 13 – Halifax to Sydney, Nova Scotia *Lunch included
Our journey across the Strait of Canso brings us into Cape Breton, the island of the hearty and independent Scots, the original European settlers of this historic island that is rich in French heritage. Our lunch stop is in Big Pond at Rita’s (MacNeil) Tea House, followed by a visit to the historical Fortress of Louisbourg, a famous 18th century landmark. The fortress is “animated” with soldiers and villagers all going about their business as they would have in 1720. A guide takes us through the buildings of this reconstructed fortress. It is beautifully restored with inhabitants dressed in period costume, and it stands today as it did 200 years ago. The whole afternoon is allowed to explore this monument thoroughly. After a pleasant historical adventure, we arrive to our Sydney hotel in the late afternoon. Hotel: Delta Sydney
Day 14 – Sydney – The Cabot Trail *Breakfast & Lunch included
A full day scenic adventure on Cabot Trail, named after the famous explorer who first sighted the island in 1497. Watch as we pass the meandering glens,rugged coastlines, white gypsum bluffs and the always-pounding surf. We travel the scenic Cabot Trail, through the Cape Breton Highlands National Park, stopping in Cheticamp, the Lone Sheiling and other stunning mountain vistas that make for panoramic photo stops. We also visit the grounds of the Keltic lodge in Inogonish where we have an afternoon break, before our return to Sydney in late afternoon.Enjoy the most relaxing and scenic adventure of the tour. We retire for the night back in Sydney.
Day 15 – Sydney to Cornerbrook, Newfoundland *Breakfast
Our first stop today is the beautiful park-like setting at the Alexander Graham Bell Museum which displays working models of Bell’s experiments during the years he lived in Baddeck. After our morning break in Baddeck, we board the 6 hour long scenic ferry from North Sydney, NS to Port Aux Basques on the rocky shores of Newfoundland (subject to Ferry schedule). Sit back, relax and watch for marine life as we sail across the Cabot Strait. Our overnight stop is in the beautiful city of Cornerbrook at the Glynmill Inn.
Day 16 – Cornerbrook
This morning we enjoy a mystery tour returning to Corner Brook for a short city tour and a stop at the mall. This afternoon is free for you to view the magnificent fall colors that surround our hotel in a beautiful park setting.
Day 17 – Cornerbrook to Gander *Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner included
We depart Cornerbrook travelling on the Trans Canada highway. After a lunch and a photo stop in Springdale we journey through out port villages on our way to Gander, where we visit the N.A Aviation Museum. Our overnight stay is at the Comfort Inn.
Day 18 – Gander to Clarenville
This morning we visit the memorial to American Soldiers killed during a plane crash (The Silent Witness) then onto St. John’s travelling through lush countryside, and farmlands of the Avalon Peninsula. Hotel: Clarenville Inn
Day 19 – Clarenville to St. John’s -
We travel to the Avalon Peninsula. Sit back and relax as we drive through Heart’s Delight and Heart’s Desire to the small town of Heart’s Content. We visit the old cable relay station, where the first transatlantic cable was landed in 1866. We make a short stop in Harbour Grace, an old pirate town, where Amelia Earhart took off in 1932 for her pioneering solo flight across the Atlantic Ocean. We continue our scenic drive through Conception Bay to St. John’s, NF. A city unlike any other, the “City of Legends” is cradled in a harbour carved from granite and is surrounded by hills running down to the ocean. Quaint side streets of a thousand colours and friendly faces await to greet you. This evening, join your tour director and fellow passengers for a traditional Farewell Dinner. We stay in St. John at the Ramada Inn.
Day 20 St. John to Kelowna, B.C.
We bid farewell to each other this morning. All good things must come to an end! We take with us our memories of a wonderful ‘Atlantic’ experience as we travel to the airport for our return flight home. With fond memories of the Maritimes, we depart from St. John’s back to the Kelowna.
